Hello everyone 😃
Upcycling is totally trendy and of course good for the environment. Nicole shows you with her project how she has breathed new life into an old yoghurt jar and how it can be used again. I wish you a lot of fun imitating it.
See you next time
Nicole first painted the yogurt jar with black Gesso. Afterwards she gave the glass more structure with the remnants of bandage material and “garbage”, as she herself calls it.
Here you can see how she has glued on some small pieces of wood to create more structure. After that the whole glass got another layer of black Gesso.
In the next step Nicole colored a chipboard with the Metallique Acrylic Pain “Deep Waters”. This later adorns the front of the glass.
On the glass she added gears, chains and a chipboard from Dusty Attic. Nicole colored the new elements again with black Gesso.
In the next step the complete glass was coloured with the Metallique Acrylic Paint “Deep Waters”.
To make everything a little bit more vivid she worked with the Metallique Wax “Peacock”.
Nicole has set the highlights with the Metallique Wax “Brushed Iron”. Now the yoghurt glass in the new look is ready. Isn’t that great?
